ISC is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to our Site, subscribers to our newsletters, and those providing contact information. ISC may use information submitted by users or visitors to the Site in furtherance of ISC’s legitimate interests in operating the Site or providing services to its customers (“Services”).

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT & HOW IS IT USED?
Information You Voluntarily Submit to the Site: We may request users of the Sites and Services to provide information such as your name, street address, telephone number, screen name and email address. The Sites and Services may provide you with messaging capabilities for your use. For example, you may voluntarily submit information to ISC by leaving a comment, subscribing to the Sweetalk newsletter, submitting a contact form, creating a user profile, submitting a recipe, downloading a coupon, or leaving a recipe review. In the event you voluntarily disclose sensitive or personal data using such services, that information, along with any other information disclosed in your communication or post, can be collected, correlated and used by specific third parties. Any use of such information shall be for the limited and legitimate purpose for which ISC is using such third party’s product or service to provide the Services or Site to you. In all cases, we will store the username, but your password will not be visible in our records.
Information We Collect from Others: We may receive information about you from other sources. For example, if you use a third-party software through the Site, they may transfer information to us for fulfillment.
Automatically-Collected Information: We automatically collect certain information about you and the device with which you access the Site and Services. For example, when you use ISC’s Site, we will log your IP address, operating system type, browser type, referring website, pages you viewed, and the dates/times when you accessed the Site. - Electronic Newsletter & Digital Coupon Downloads: To register online for our Sweetalk electronic newsletter and to download digital coupons, we request the following required information: (i) first and last name, (ii) screen name, and (iii) e-mail address. The provision of an e-mail address is mandatory in order to receive our newsletter and download digital coupons.
- Contact Forms: To contact ISC to answer your questions, we utilize numerous forms throughout our site. Required information varies depending on the form and at minimum includes (i) name, and (ii) e-mail address. The provision of this information is mandatory in order to receive a response from ISC. The provision of the remaining information requested on the registration form is optional.
HOW YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION MAY BE USED
When you create an account or submit information on the Site ISC uses this information to further its legitimate interests, including to set up your account and to allow administration and communication with you regarding your account, or as otherwise required by applicable law, legal process or regulation, or as necessary to prevent security issues or abuse. ISC may also use your information to send you updates and provide the Services to you. Specifically, ISC may use your personal information in the following ways:

ISC employs other companies, software services and individuals to perform functions on its behalf. Examples include storing and processing data, providing marketing assistance, email and chat services and contract management. Additionally, ISC may use third-party service providers to service various aspects of the Site. Such third parties have access to personal data as needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes. The Site may contain links to other websites that are beyond our control. ISC will release account and other personal data when ISC believes release is appropriate to comply with applicable laws, enforce or apply ISC’s rights hereunder, or protect the rights, property or safety of ISC’s customers or others.
Other than has set forth in this Policy, ISC will provide you with notice when your information may be shared with a third party, and you will have an opportunity to choose not to share such information.
Generally, no one is under a statutory or contractual obligation to provide any information. However, certain information is collected automatically and, if certain information is not provided by you, ISC may not be able to provide Services or access to the Site.
ISC currently uses the following third-party service providers:
- Tracking: ISC uses various marketing tools that help us create a better user experience for people visiting the Site. These tools allow us to look at aggregated de-identified data such as clicks, and allow us to run tests to determine which pages result in the best actions. We use the following third-party service provider for tracking:
- Remarketing: ISC uses remarketing tracking cookies and conversion pixels from vendors such as Google and Facebook to present special offers to you for our products or services over the Google Content Network and via social networks. This means you may see an ad for one of our products or services as a result of visiting our Site. In addition, ISC uses custom audiences based on e-mails of subscribers and customers. This allows us to present special offers for our products and services to you via Facebook. We use the following third-party service providers for remarketing:

If you create a user profile on ISC, leave a comment on the Sweetalk Blog, and rate or review a recipe, certain information may be publicly visible.
ISC uses temporary “session” cookies to maintain information ISC needs to have in order to maintain information ISC needs to have in order for you to view content and browse from page to page. ISC uses “persistent” cookies to give you a more personalized browsing experience and to help you navigate the Site more efficiently.
At any time, you may prevent the setting of cookies by the Site, by using a corresponding setting of your internet browser and may thus permanently deny the setting of cookies. Furthermore, already set cookies may be deleted at any time via an Internet browser or other software programs. This is possible in all popular Internet browsers. If requested to remove data, ISC will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
You may opt-out of future e-mail communications by following the unsubscribe links in our e-mails. You may also notify us at email@example.com to be removed from our mailing list. Please note that we may need to retain certain information for recordkeeping purposes or to complete transactions, or when required by law.
COMMITMENT TO DATA SECURITY
The security and confidentiality of your information is important to ISC. ISC works hard to protect information you provide form loss, misuse or unauthorized access or disclosure, and follows generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal data submitted to ISC, both during transmission and once it is received. ISC has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk. Generally, information will be retained by ISC during the duration the data collector is a customer of ISC, unless you otherwise request deletion or destruction of your information, and thereafter for 10 years. ISC may retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Services, comply with ISC’s legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce a agreements, and thereafter, ISC shall destroy or delete such account information within sixty (60) days. Notwithstanding the foregoing, ISC may keep any data after the periods set forth herein to the extent such data is anonymized.
SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION
At no time should you submit sensitive personal information to ISC. This includes your social security number, information regarding race or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, health information, criminal background, or trade union memberships. If you elect to submit such information to us, it will be subject to this Policy.
ISC does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian believes that ISC has personally identifiable information of a child under the age of 13 in its database, please contact us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will use our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
ISC is strongly opposed to spam. Except as otherwise set forth in this Policy, we will only send e-mail to users that have explicitly requested to receive an e-mail from ISC. Examples may include:
